Travis Barker Net Worth, Biography, Wiki 2017-2016

Travis Landon Barker, commonly known as Travis Barker, is a famous American drummer, musician, record producer, actor, as well as an entrepreneur. Travis Barker is perhaps most notable for playing drums in the popular rock band called “Blink-182”, which was founded in 1992 by Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Scott Raynor, who was the original drummer of the group. “Blink-182” debuted in the music industry in 1994 with the release of their first studio album called “Cheshire Cat”, which brought them a lot of local recognition. Considered to be an iconic release among the fans of the trio, “Cheshire Cat” managed to spawn such singles as “M+M’s” and “Wasting Time”, and has sold more than 250 000 copies. The band’s mainstream breakthrough came in 1999, when “Blink-182” released their third studio work under the title of “Enema of the State”. Even though the album was initially criticized as being more pop rather than punk, “Enema of the State” went on to sell more than 15 million copies all around the world, making them one of the biggest pop punk bands in the industry at the time. Critical and commercial success, the album was featured in the list of 100 Greatest Rock Albums, compiled by “Kerrang!” magazine, and landed a #2 spot on the list of 101 Modern Classic Albums, as chosen by “Rock Sound”. “Enema of the State” also spawned such iconic singles as “What’s My Age Again?”, “All The Small Things” and “Adam’s Song”.

According to sources, Travis Barker’s net worth is estimated to be $85 million. Undoubtedly, most of Travis Barker’s net worth and wealth comes from his involvement in the music industry.

Travis Barker was born in 1975, in Fontana, California, where he attended Fontana High School. Prior to becoming a member of “Blink-182”, Barker played with several other bands, one of which was “The Fury of the Aquabats!” with whom he toured on “Blink-182’s” tour in 1997. During many of the performances, Barker was asked to fill in for Scott Raynor, who faced constant disagreements with the band including drinking problems. Eventually, Barker was asked to join the group and given an opportunity to work on their third album “Enema of the State”.

Even though Travis Barker is best known as a member of “Blink-182”, he was also a part of an alternative rock supergroup known as “+44”, as well as a punk rock/rap rock supergroup called “The Transplants”, which consisted of Tim Armstrong, Rob Aston and Kevin Bivona.
