Tom Sullivan was born on the 27th March 1947, in Boston, Massachusetts USA, and is a Primetime Emmy Award-nominated actor, writer, and author, best known for his role in “Airport ’77” (1977) and as a writer of “If You Could See What I Hear” (1982). His career started in 1969.

He made his first on-screen appearance in an episode of “Allen Ludden’s Gallery” in 1969, while from 1974 to 1976, Sullivan appeared in seven episodes of the Golden Globe Award-nominated “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson”. In the period between 1975 and 1976, Tom was a guest in three episodes of the Golden Globe Award-nominated “Dinah!”, while from 1976 to 1978, he participated in the Primetime Emmy Award-winning “The Mike Douglas Show”. In 1977, Sullivan made it to the movies in the Oscar Award-nominated “Airport ’77” (1977) starring Jack Lemmon, Lee Grant, and Joseph Cotton, and the following year he played in the TV movie “Love’s Dark Ride”. Tom ended the the ‘70s with appearances in “Good Morning America” (1979-1980).

From 1982 to 1984, Tom played in the Golden Globe Award-winning series “Fame”, while from 1987 to 1989 he appeared in a Primetime Emmy Award-nominated “Highway to Heaven”. In the ‘90s, Sullivan had parts in “Vows of Deception” (1996) alongside Cheryl Ladd, Nick Mancuso, and Michael Woolson, and in such series as the Golden Globe Award-nominated “Beverly Hills, 90210” (1998) and “Pensacola: Wings of Gold” (1999). All helped raise his net worth.

Tom Sullivan co-wrote his autobiography with Derek Gill entitled “If You Could See What I Hear” in 1975, which was a best-selling book and even made it as a movie in 1982. He has also written several more books, including “The Leading Lady: Dinah’s Story” (1993), “Special Parent, Special Child: Parents of Children with Disabilities Share Their Trials, Triumphs and Hard-won Wisdom” (1995), “Adventures in Darkness: Memoirs of an Eleven-year-old Blind Boy” (2006), and “Together” (2008), adding to his net worth.

Regarding his personal life, Tom Sullivan married Patricia Steffen in 1969 and has two children with her. He saved his daughter Blythe from drowning after hearing air bubbles while she was swimming in the family pool.
