Edward Bridge Danson III was born on 29 December 1947, in San Diego, California USA, of English and Scottish ancestry. Ted is an actor, voice actor, producer and author, however, he is best known for, and most of his net worth has been accumulated from, his roles in the TV sitcoms “Cheers”, in which he played the lead role of Sam Malone, and “Becker” where he portrayed the main character Dr. John Becker.
