Ric Flair Net Worth $5 Million

A famous professional wrestler, how rich is Ric Flair? According to sources, in 2011 his monthly salary with TNA amounted to $22,000, while in 2012 his salary per night reached as much as $35,000. In regards to his total wealth, Ric Flair’s net worth is estimated to be $5 million. Undoubtedly, most of this wealth comes from his involvement in wrestling.

Ric Flair was born in 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, then his family moved out to Minnesota, where Flair studied at Wayland Academy, and later enrolled in the University of Minnesota. Flair was interested in wrestling ever since his childhood, hence he took part in various wrestling events in high school and university. As a result of his passion for wrestling, Flair joined a wrestling camp established by Greg Gagne, where he trained under Billy Robinson and Josh Klemme. Flair’s first wrestling match happened in 1972, when he fought against George Gadaski in the American Wrestling Association division. During his time with AWA, Ric Flair excelled as a charismatic performer, who consequently caught the public’s attention. When Ric Flair left AWA, he joined the International Wrestling Enterprise, and briefly worked in the New Japan Pro Wrestling. In 1974, Flair adopted the persona of “The Nature Boy”, which resulted in a feud between him and Buddy Rogers, who was considered to be the original “Nature Boy”. Prior to his involvement with WCW and WWF, Ric Flair also had feuds with Dusty Rhodes, Sting, Roddy Piper, and Ronnie Garvin.

Aside from that, Flair made a name for himself by becoming allied with a tag team called “Four Horsemen”, which were known as villains at the time. Flair joined World Wrestling Federation in 1991, when he began making appearances on various shows promoted by WWF. Even though Flair was disliked as a villain, this did not prevent him from earning the audience’s respect for his matches.

A well-known professional wrestler, Ric Flair has an estimated net worth of $5 million.
