P!nk Net Worth, Biography, Wiki 2017-2016

Alecia Beth Moore was born on  8 September 1979, in Doylestown, Pennsylvania USA, of German and Irish (father) and Lithuanian-Jewish (mother) descent. Known under her stage name of Pink –  stylized as P!nk – she is a singer-songwriter, actress and model, inspired by her father who was a guitar player, to join the music scene when she was 14. She tried herself as a hip-hopper, rave and lead singer, joined a girls music band “The Middleground”, and two years later formed the band “Choice”, where her nickname Pink was born. Its origin is partly because of her pink cheeks when she blushes and partly because of the pink hair she displayed for her debut single “There you go”.

So just how rich is P!nk? Source estimate that she has a net worth of over $130 million, accumulated largely during her career as a singer spanning more than 25 years.

Pink Net Worth $130 Million

“Choice” signed a contract in 1995 with the production company LaFace in Atlanta, Georgia – necessarily counter-signed by parents because of their age. However, owner/producer L.A. Reid soon gave Pink an ultimatum – to leave the band and go solo, or finish working with him. Consequently, the band split and Pink became the performer that we all know. She started her solo career in 2000; her debut album “Can’t take me home” became multi-platinum in US, and three singles from it –  “You make me sick”, “Most girls” and “There you go” turned Pink in an international superstar. Pink became one of the top artists of the world in 2001 after the single “Lady Marmalade”, recorded with Mýa, Christina Aguilera and Lil’ Kim. Pink earned many awards during her musical career, such as MTV, the Grammys, the Brits.

Pink has now released six albums in total over 12 years, including “Missundaztood”(2001), “Try This”(2003), “I’m Not Dead”(2006), “Funhouse”(2008), and “The Truth About Love”(2012) which have all sold well around the world. Pink has also undertaken several tours, at about two year intervals so that together with her albums she never gets over exposed. An indication of her increasing net worth can be guarded by her listing in 2010 on “Forbes The Celebrity 100” at #27, with earnings of $44 million. In 2011, she appeared on “Forbes the Top-Earning Women in Music” list at #6 with earnings of $22 million. Pink earned over $32 million in 2013 thanks to the “Truth about love tour”, and she was ranked as the highest earning musician that year. Clearly her total net worth is not understated.

Pink has also appeared in about 10 movies – often in cameo roles – which have added further to her net worth.

In her interesting personal life, Pink and Carey Hart, her future husband who is a professional motocross racer, met in 2001 at the “X Games” in Philadelphia. Pink actually proposed to Hart in 2005, singing the song “Will You Marry Me?”, and they married in 2006. Their marriage seemed over in 2008, but in 2009 they were seen together again and in 2011 their daughter Willow Sage Hart was born. The couple released their child’s photographs via People Magazine, and all the money for the pictures was donated to children’s charities.

Worth mentioning is that Pink is a vegan, therefore she is also an animal activist at the organization PETA. She also supports the charity organization “Save The Children”, which is committed to make actual changes for children living in deprivation. She is also an activist for the “Human Right Campaign” and one of a few celebrities serving as an advocate for civil rights. She participates in the “Run for the Cure Foundation” and many other charity campaigns and organizations in the USA and internationally.

Pink and family live in a six-bedroom house in Malibu valued at $12 million. She drives a modern BMW X6. Surprisingly, she also owns a classic Chevrolet Impala a model of 1958. However, when we talk about casual and everyday trips, a super bike is Pink’s number one choice – she now rides a Triumph Bonneville T100, or a black Harley-Davidson Sportster XL.

Looks like we don't have Alecia Beth Moore salary information. Sorry!

#Fact
1 She is left-handed.
2 Was born at 3 PM.
3 Teamed up with Dallas Green from City and Colour to write an album together. The duo wrote and recorded their debut album for You+Me in 6 days. [2014]
4 Revealed in a radio interview that she purposely flubs her songs when performing live to show she doesn't lip sync.
5 Alecia Moore is not the first Pennsylvania-born celebrity to go by the nickname Pink. The same sobriquet was briefly used by Elizabeth Cochrane (or Cochran, 1864-1922), who later became known as Nellie Bly. Cochran(e)/Bly famously broke gender barriers as a whistle-blowing journalist, travel writer, industrialist, war correspondent, and philanthropist in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. She is best known for her world-circumnavigating voyage in the winter of 1889-90, wherein she became the first person to prove the plausibility of the Jules Verne novel 80 Days Around the World, i.e. that someone could make such a journey in such a time span.
6 It has been frequently, but incorrectly, reported that Alecia is the cousin of Mandy Moore.
7 She will be releasing a DVD of her tour in Europe. She also contributed to a charity single for the tsunami victims with other stars doing a re-make of Eric Clapton's hit "Tears in Heaven". [November 2005]

20 Dropped out of high school, but went back later and got a GED.
21 Brought her mother a copy of the lyrics to her song "Family Portrait", which told how she felt about her parents breaking up, before the record was released. Her mother was deeply upset by the lyrics at first, but it led to a heart-to-heart talk between the two, that changed their relationship for the better.
22 Got back together with Carey Hart and they renewed their wedding vows with a ceremony at their California in May 2009. [April 2009]
23 Once rented a yacht on the Mediterranean Sea; between seasickness and breaking a rib while diving, she described it later as "the stupidest, most expensive thing I've ever done".
24 As of 2008, she has released four albums including "M!ssundaztood" (2001), which sold 13 million copies worldwide.
25 Has won two Grammy Awards for "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals" in 2002 ("Lady Marmalade") and "Best Female Rock Performance" in 2004 ("Trouble").

#Quote
1 I think I did a good job of raising my parents.
2 [Graham Norton shows Pink a picture of her playing Rumpleteaser from Cats] Ha! Give that here or I'll kick your ass!
3 Just read that I'm bisexual. So 1991. Good thing people write articles about me so I can get my facts straight. Can't wait for the day when people stop talking about sexual preference or that a woman is a CEO and actually start making the world liveable.
4 There's not a lot of people out there that are as honest as I am.
5 It takes a lot of people years to turn a negative into a positive. It takes me, like, an album.
6 I would win on Survivor (2000) as long as I didn't have to eat bugs.
7 I've always loved to prove people wrong. I want to be able to cross color lines, because in music, there really is no barrier.
8 I have to speak for myself. As far as videos go--casting, the artwork, everything--I'm completely hands-on. You have to be if you want your points across.
9 I appreciate being a girl more now than ever. There's a struggle involved in it, but it's so rewarding when you prove to all men that you might have something up on 'em.
10 When I was in seventh grade my mom caught me smoking cigarettes and punished me by making me smoke the entire carton. All it did was piss me off because I was out of cigarettes.
11 I decided at 15 that I didn't want to be one of those artists that gets up and sings love songs they don't mean. I decided that I was going to be me to the fullest extent, that my songs were going to reflect relationships I've had, things I've been through, and even the stuff I'm embarrassed about.
12 I'm about to make people forget about Madonna.
13 My dad raised me with some good advice: "Always tell the truth. Always shoot from the hip. You might not have many friends, but you'll never have enemies, because people will always know where you're coming from."
