Robinson Award by the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts, and named in the 100 Most Influential People by Time Magazine, returning to the list in 2010 and 2015. She was also repeatedly named as one of the most influential women by the National Law Journal. She was finally inducted into Oklahoma Hall of Fame in 2011, and named as one of the top 20 US Progressives in January 2012 by the UK New Statesman Magazine. In 2009, she became the first Harvard professor to be awarded ‘The Sacks-Freud Teaching Award’ twice.

In her personal life, Elizabeth Warren married Jim Warren, her high-school boyfriend, in 1968 and the couple had a son and daughter, but divorced in 1978. Warren moved on to marry Bruce Mann in 1980, choosing to keep her surname.
