Michael Andrew Fisher was born on the 5th June 1980 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, and is best known for being a professional ice hockey player in the position of centre for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League (NHL) team. He has also played for the Ottawa Senators. His playing career has been active since 1999.

He made his debut in 1999-2000 season, playing only 32 games as he was injured along the way, but the next year he continued with good performances which eventually paid off in 2002-2003 season, when he scored 18 goals overall, and had 38 points. His next season was again cut short because of injuries, playing only 24 games, and the 2004-2005 season he spent at the Swiss hockey club EV Zug, because of the lockout in the NHL, so his net worth continued to rise.
Mike then returned to the Ottawa Senators, and in 68 games, scored 22 goals and had 22 points. However, in 2011, Mike was traded to Nashville Predators, for a first round draft pick of 2011, and conditional pick from the 2012 Draft. He debuted for the Predators on 12th February against Colorado Avalanche, and scored his first goal for the new team on the 17th February against Vancouver Canucks. In June 2015, Mike signed a two year contract with the Predators worth $8.8 million, which again increased his net worth by a large margin.
When it comes to his personal life, Mike Fisher has been married to Carrie Underwood, a country music singer, since July of 2010. They welcomed their first child in February 2015. His spare time he spends in hockey camps in his hometown, where he is also appreciated for being a guest instructor.
