Marcellus Vernon Wiley Sr. is a Compton, California-born American former NFL player. Born on 30 November 1974, Marcellus is mostly known for playing ten seasons of NFL with four teams as a defender. Drafted in 1997, Marcellus was active in the field from 1997 until 2006. Currently, Wiley co-hosts the sports show “SportsNation” on ESPN along with Max Kellerman.

After graduating from college with a degree in sociology, Wiley started his professional career as a footballer. He was signed to Buffalo Bills from 1997 to 2000, and then traded to the San Diego Chargers, where he played for three years before singing with the Dallas Cowboys in 2004, playing for just one year. He finally played with the Jacksonville Jaguars for two years, before retiring from the game in 2006. Being a part of all these NFL teams has definitely helped Wiley earn millions of dollars.

As a part of NFL, Marcellus saw his career height in 2001 as he was voted to the Pro Bowl as well as All-Pro in the same year. After retiring from the NFL, Wiley got a taste of TV when he appeared in season five of the reality show “Millionaire Matchmaker”, supposedly finding a romantic match.

Marcellus then started his career as a sports commentator and sports show host. Currently, he works for ESPN’s “NFL Live” and co-hosts the program “Max and Marcellus” on ESPN LA along with Max Kellerman. He is also a host of “ Sportsnation”.
