#Fact
1 Was cast in the role of a demon, wearing an abstract sculpture designed by special effects artist Evan Campbell, in the Clive Barker film Lord of Illusions (1995). Her scenes ended up on the cutting room floor.
2 Linnea Quigley was cast as a Dancing Skeleton that pops out of a cake at the end of Dead Head (1986). However, the scene was cut. This footage is available for viewing on Stephen King's World of Horror (1986) (a.k.a. This Is Horror) (segment on the Steve Johnson 's SFX Studio).
3 Auditioned for a supporting role in Reservoir Dogs (1992) at director Quentin Tarantino's behest. The part she was to play was later removed from the script.
4 She's re-formed her band, the Skirts, and will play the Monster Mania festival in Cherry Hill, N.J., and the Scream Fest in Plantation, Florida. [August 2003]
5 At the age of 15, Linnea represented Bettendorf, Iowa in the Miss National Teenager Pageant.
6 Before she started her acting career, she worked at a Jack LaLanne Health Spa.
7 Known as "Barb" to her friends growing up in Iowa.
8 Attended Bettendorf High School in Bettendorf, Iowa.
9 Wears a size 4 1/2 shoe.
10 Ranked #9 on Maxim's "Hottest Women of Horror Movies" list.
11 Interviewed in the book "Invasion of the B-Girls" by Jewel Shepard.
12 Said her worst experience with special FX makeup was during The Return of the Living Dead (1985), in which she had to endure several experimental makeup tests and wear a "featureless Barbie-doll prosthetic" over her crotch because a producer felt that full-frontal nudity was too shocking.
13 Starred in three horror films where something evil was unwittingly released upon a group of people: The Return of the Living Dead (1985), Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-O-Rama (1988), and Night of the Demons (1988).
14 In the early 90s, she wanted to become a police officer with the LAPD. She passed the written test but decided to continue acting instead.
15 Her first major foray into acting was a toothpaste commercial.
16 Has been friends with frequent co-star Don Calfa since they both appeared in The Return of the Living Dead (1985). They reunited once again in 2003's Corpses Are Forever (2004).
17 Long-time friends with fellow B-movie actresses Brinke Stevens and Michelle Bauer, whom she has worked with for years.
18 Appears at horror conventions several times a year to meet her fans.
19 Was once in a band called "The Skirts," an all-girl band.
20 Has contributed to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) campaigns. She is well-known for working on PETA's "Lettuce Ladies" campaign, where people educate others about vegetarian lifestyles while wearing only lettuce. She even had a poster made to promote this animal rights campaign.

#Quote
1 I like playing tough girls, because they're so different from who I am. It's really boring to play the good, nice girl -- that's too much like my real personality.
2 Oh come on, men love naked women. It's a compliment; like women hate construction workers gawking at them, but when they stop -- that's bad.
3 My favorites, selected from my own movies, are Savage Streets (1984), The Return of the Living Dead (1985) and Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers (1988). One of the differences between my association with horror films and scream queens of past generations is that I don't faint as much.
4 [on nudity in movies] As I've done more and more films, I find that they sometimes impose nudity in certain scenes where I really don't want to do it. There should be some kind of restraint on love scenes. I love to watch them when they're nicely shot, but don't necessarily show a lot. You can show just a little bit and still get the idea.
5 You have more say on a low-budget film. You don't have a million people telling you what to do.
6 I never wanted a sugar-coated life.
