Arturo Molina Jr. was born on 31 May 1962, in Los Angeles, California USA, and is a hip hop artist, best known for his numerous Latin and hip hop music releases. He is also known to be the father of record producer Scoop DeVille. All of his endeavors have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

With his father in the US military, when young Frost lived on military bases in Germany and Guam. In 1982, he started his music career under the moniker Kid Frost as a tribute to his music rival Ice-T. During this time, he met DJs such as DJ Yella and Dr. Dre, and would then join Uncle Jamms Army as a breakdancer.
In the mid-1980s, Frost released several singles through Los Angeles-based labels, Baja and Electrobeat. He then signed with Virgin Records, and released his debut album “Hispanic Causing Panic”, which included his biggest hit single entitled “La Raza” and he would then form Latin Alliance which became a Latin rap supergroup. They released the album “Latin Alliance” in 1991, and the following year he would make his next solo album entitled “East Side Story”, featuring appearances from ALT and MC Eiht. In 1995, he dropped “Kid” from his name, and would sign with Eazy-E’s label Ruthless Records. He then released “Smile Now Die Later” which had several guest rappers as well, including Rick James. He then released “When Hell.A.Freezes Over” in 1997, which featured Ice-T and O Genius. Two years later, he would move to the independent label Caleb-entertainment Records and would create “This Was Then This Is Now Vol. I”, and it had numerous guest appearances too, including Xzibit. The following year “That Was Then This is Now Vol. II” was released featuring other guest rappers. In 2002, Frost released “Still Up In This Shit!” under Koch Records, which had a lot more Latin rap style songs, and featured Mellow Man Ace, Baby Bash and Don Cisco. In 2003, he released “Somethin’ 4 The Ridaz” through 40 Ounce Records, and 2005 saw Frost collaborate with Thump Records to create “Welcome to Frost Angeles”, the album mostly produced by his son Scoop De’Ville. Frost then signed to Low Profile Records and released “Till The Wheels Fall Off” the following year. His net worth was rising steadily.
Frost has also written film music, including “Bite the Bullet” for the film “Gunmen”, and “Tears of a Mother” for the film “No Mothers Crying, No Babies Dying”. He’s also appeared in several films, and is known for voicing T-Bone Mendez in the video game “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas”. One of his recent endeavors is becoming the Vice-President of the Music Division of Goldmark Industries in 2006, and making a cameo appearance in Snoop Dogg’s “Vato”.
