Kelly Ripa Net Worth, Biography, Wiki 2017-2016

Kelly Maria Ripa, known simply as Kelly Ripa, is a famous American television producer, talk show host, actress, as well as a presenter. Kelly Ripa rose to prominence in 1990, when she joined the cast of the soap opera called “All My Children”. In the series, Ripa played the role of Hayley Vaughan Santos, which turned out to be one of the most popular characters on the series. “All My Children” first aired on television screens in 1970, and finished its run in 2011 with 43 seasons and 10,755 episodes in total. Over the years, the show received numerous awards, including Daytime Emmy Awards, Writers Guild of America Awards, and Directors Guild of America Awards. Aside from “All My Children”, Kelly Ripa attracted attention as one of the main stars of the sitcom called “Hope & Faith”, which was created by Joanna Johnson. The series, which ran from 2003 until 2006, managed to attract a decent viewership, and even inspire the release of international versions of the show. Currently, Kelly Ripa is known as a co-host of the popular morning talk show called “Live! with Kelly and Michael”, where she works alongside Michael Strahan.

Kelly Ripa Net Worth $75 Million

A well-known talk show host, how rich is Kelly Ripa? According to sources, in 2011 she earned $3.5 million from the fundraising event for “The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund”. The money was donated to the fund later that year. In 2013, Ripa earned an annual salary of $20 million, and added $24.5 million from the sale of a penthouse in New York City. In regards to her overall wealth, Kelly Ripa’s net worth is estimated to be $75 million, most of which she has gathered from her on screen appearances.

Kelly Ripa was born in 1970, in New Jersey, United States, where she studied at the Eastern High School. It was in high school where she decided to pursue an acting career, after she was inspired by her drama teacher. Ripa continued her studies at Camden County College, but she insisted upon becoming an actress, hence she quit her studies and moved to New York. Ripa’s success came shortly afterwards, as she was cast to portray Vaughan in “All My Children”. Largely due to her performance on the show, Ripa was offered a position alongside Regis Philbin, who was looking for Kathie Lee Gifford’s replacement on his talk show called “Live!”. Initially, Ripa served as Philbin’s co-host, yet when he left the show in 2011, she became the main host of the show, which was renamed to “Live! with Kelly”. In order to find a suitable co-host, Ripa has worked with such celebrities as Chris Harrison, Martin Short, Dana Carvey, Reggie Bush and Jerry Seinfeld to name a few. Eventually, Michael Strahan was chosen to replace Philbin in “Live! with Kelly and Michael”.

Aside from television shows, Kelly Ripa appeared in “Marvin’s Room”, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep, “The Stand-In” and “Fly Me to the Moon”.

A famous actress, Kelly Ripa has an estimated net worth of $75 million.

1 Appreciate every second - even when you're exhausted.
2 No matter how much I try to cool myself up, I'm really dorky. I think that's why people get me.
3 The higher the heel, the happier I am! I have a pair of five-inch pumps that I consider my 'flats'.
4 [on the search for Regis Philbin's replacement as her co-host] They certainly weren't looking for me when they found me. When it clicks, America will know.
5 (on Natasha Richardson's death) She was a lady. I can't tell you enough what a good person she was, and fun and vivacious and the most full of life.
6 I'd rather not have a moment when I'm known for my looks; being funny and interesting lasts longer. (Woman's World, February 7, 2006)
7 There's no such thing as an uber-mom. I think children are like pancakes. You sort of ruin the first one, and you get better at it the second time around.
