Jimmy Kimmel Net Worth, Biography, Wiki 2017-2016

James Christian Kimmel, was born on 13 November 1967, in Brooklyn, New York USA of Italian and German ancestry. Jimmy Kimmel is a famous television host, voice actor, and comedian, as well as a radio personality, writer and producer. Jimmy is best known for working on such shows as “The Man Show”, “The Andy Milonakis Show”, “Win Ben Stein’s Money” and his own show, called “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. During his career, Jimmy has been nominated for and has won such awards as the Daytime Emmy Award, Teen Choice Award, People’s Choice Award, The Comedy Award and others. Jimmy is not only known for his work in the television industry, but he has also appeared in and worked on several movies. As he is 47 years old, he still can do a lot and achieve even more acclaim.

So how rich is Jimmy Kimmel? Sources estimated that Jimmy’s net worth is $35 million. He has mainly gained this sum of money through his work on popular television shows. Of course, his other activities have also added to his wealth. If Kimmel will continue working there is a chance that this sum of money will become higher. Hopefully, this is exactly what will happen.

Jimmy Kimmel Net Worth $35 Million

Jimmy started working at the radio station, “KUNV” when he was still in high school. He continued his studies at Arizona State University, where he also worked at several radio stations. Soon Jimmy was able to host his own radio show at the radio station called “KCMJ”. In 1997 Jimmy began his career as a comedian, appearing in the show called “Win Ben Stein’s Money”. This had a huge impact on the growth of Jimmy’s net worth. While still working on this show, Jimmy started producing and hosting another television show entitled “The man Show”.

In 2001, Jimmy left the “Win Ben Stein’s Money” and focused on his other projects. In 2003 Jimmy decided to create and host his own show, called “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. This show became one of the main sources of Kimmel’s net worth and gained him a lot of acclaim. What is more, this show caused various controversies and scandals, but it still remained very popular. Other television shows that Jimmy has appeared in include, “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, “The Howard Stern Show”, “Late Show with David Letterman” and many others. All these appearances also added to his net worth. As mentioned, Jimmy has also worked on several movies. Some of them include “Like Mike” “Te Aristocrats”, “Project X”, “Windy City Heat” and others. Let’s hope that soon we will hear more about Jimmy’s new projects.

To talk about Jimmy Kimmel’s personal life, he was married to Gina Maddy.(1988-2002), and they have two children. He then had a long relationship with Sarah Silverman until 2009. In 2013 Jimmy married Molly McNearney and they have one child. All in all, it can be said that Jimmy Kimmel is quite an interesting and controversial personality. Regardless, he is acclaimed in the television industry and continues working on various projects.

#Quote
1 [on the reason for Donald Trump's praise of Vladimir Putin] Maybe he is afraid Putin will cut off his supply of wives.
2 You know what the most dangerous neighborhood in the country is right now? The comments section on every webpage... No sane person would ever say the kind of things that they write online to someone face-to-face. If you did, you'd get killed.
3 [to Rob Ford, mayor of Toronto] How much crack does a mayor have to smoke to win Person of the Year?
4 [on the premiere of Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003)] It's insane that America votes for Jay. It's my biggest fear. Everybody says it's going to be great; everybody is positive. But in a world where Jay Leno beats David Letterman every night, you can't be sure of anything. You really can't.
5 [on Conan O'Brien] When Conan first came on, I thought, This guy is going to be great. A lot of silly and smart stuff. I thought, When this guy smoothes out, he's going to be real good. He never smoothed out.
6 [on competing against Late Show with David Letterman (1993)] I really would feel badly if I cut into David Letterman But I figure this: The people who like Leno are largely the stupid group. The people who root for Letterman are the smarter group. The people who like me? Also stupid. I figure I cut into the dummies.
7 [on Late Night with David Letterman (1982)] Really, the reason I got into show business is I wanted to be David Letterman's friend. There are kids in high school, and this guy's a baseball player, this guy's on the wrestling team, this guy is really smart. I was the guy who watched David Letterman. I watched every night on a little black-and-white TV at my desk. I wanted to be an artist at that point, so I'd draw and watch the show all night.
8 [on Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003)] I want to do the comedy version of The Tonight Show.
9 [on Jay Leno] Leno was so great when he was a guest on Letterman. Great, great. I just think he's worked it too hard. I think he turned comedy into factory work -- and it comes across. It's just amazing how insecure he is.
10 [on ridiculing Jay Leno during his appearance on The Jay Leno Show (2009)] It was probably my proudest moment. People, it turns out, really don't like Jay Leno. We have not spoken since that time.
11 [on Jay Leno] Fuck him. I impersonated him on my show and it was the most fun I've ever had on my show.
