Hank Williams Jr. Net Worth, Biography, Wiki 2017-2016

Randall Hank Williams Jr. is famous as a Country Music musician, both as a singer and song-writer.  Williams`s music style is unique: it is a blend of traditional country, blues and Southern rock. His father Hank Williams was also a worldwide known country music singer, and although he died when Hank Jr was just three years-old, it isn’t surprising that Hank Jr has been active in his career since 1957, at first singing his father’s songs, since when he has released approximately 40 studio albums, and completed many live performances. The sales from so many albums and appearances have benefitted Hank Williams Jr’s wealth enormously.

So just how rich is Hank Williamd Jr? Sources estimate that Hank Jr’s  net worth is $45 million, virtually all of which has been accumulated from his long career in the music industry.

Hank Williams Jr. Net Worth $45 Million

Hank Williams Jr. was born on 26 May 1949 in Shreveport, Louisiana, United States. Hank Jr apparently followed his father`s footsteps, literally, since early childhood,  imitating his father`s moves and dancing style, and singing his songs, so it is true that his father inspired Hank and helped him find himself in the music industry. Hank Jr’s first album was released in 1964 and named Your Cheatin` Heart. His other albums include Blues My Name (1965), Family Tradition (1979), The Pressure Is On (1981), Man of Steel (1983), Hank Live (1987), Lone Wolf (1990), Three Hanks: Men with Broken Hearts (1996), Five-O (1985), I`m One of You (2003) among many others. Hank Jr is a very talented musician – his ability to play many instruments has also helped increase the overall amount of Hank Williams Jr’s net worth: he can play guitar, piano, steel guitar, harmonica, drums, dobro, banjo, keyboards, fiddle, and upright bass.

Of course Williams Jr has used his great talent perfectly to accumulate such great net worth. One of his best known songs is All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight, which was included in Hank Jr`s album Major Moves, and reached the tops of country music charts. It has also been used for the opening song of Monday Night Football. The popularity of this song brought great revenues to Hank Williams Jr’s net worth. His other well known recordings include Songs My Father Left Me, Three Hanks: Men with Broken Hearts, and Ballads of the Hills and Plains.

Hank Williams Jr. has received many awards and nominations for his contribution to country music: Emmy and Grammy Awards, Academy of Country Music and Country Music Association Awards, as well as CMT Music Awards.

Hank Williams Jr is also a politically active person. He was involved with the Republican Party, and even reworked his song We Are Young Country for the presidential elections that took place in 2000. His McCain – Palin Tradition was a song written to support John McCain, a presidential nominee. Williams Jr has made a couple of more contributions to politicS; interestingly, Hank Jr has recorded a song that criticizes President Obama, entitled Keep the Change, which was initially downloaded over 180,000 times  in 2 days.

In his personal life, Hank Williams Jr has been married three times and has five children. He has been married to Mary Jane Thomas since 1990. Additionally, depression, drugs and alcohol have been problems for Hank Jr, but he survived and is now considered to be the one who made the world more familiar with blues and rock music.
