Gregory Ralph Evigan was born on 14 October 1953, in South Amboy, New Jersey USA, to Barbara Elizabeth, a homemaker, and electrician Ralph Milan Evigan. He is an actor, best known for his roles in the television series “B. J. and the Bear”, “My Two Dads”, “P.S. I Luv U” and “TekWar”.

Evigan made his film debut with the role of Alan in the 1976 crime film “Scorchy”. The following year he made his television debut, with the starring role of Greg in the short-lived CBS sitcom “A Year at the Top”. From 1978 to 1981 he portrayed truck driver Billie Joe ‘B.J.’ McKay in the NBC comedy series “B. J. and the Bear”, which made him recognizable to American audiences, and greatly contributing to his net worth.

He went on to make guest appearances in numerous series through the ’80s, including “The Yellow Rose”, “Murder, She Wrote” and “Matlock”, paving his way to fame and fortune.
