#Fact
1 Originally auditioned for the role of "Uncle Junior" in the The Sopranos (1999), but the show's creator and executive producer David Chase felt that, with Michael Imperioli and Lorraine Bracco already on board as series leads, the show's principal cast would be too top-heavy with Goodfellas (1990) alumni.
2 He and old New Jersey buddy Joe Pesci once did a vaudeville-style comedy act modeled on Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Needless to say, they fell a bit short of their role models.
