Frank Dux started training in Koga Yamabushi Ninjutsu after Senzo Tanaka introduced him to that martial art style, and from 1975 to 1980 he fought in 329 matches and actually retired undefeated.
When the article about him appeared in Black Belt Magazine in 1980, the producers wanted to make a film about him, and eight years later “Bloodsport” was released which Frank Dux choreographed.

In 1980, Dux became the first Kumite fighter to be undefeated with over 100 matches. In 1993, Frank became the first and so far only martial artist to break bulletproof glass barehanded and multiple champagne bottle break, a single kick with varying heights at the International Martial Arts Festival, Bercy Stadium, Paris, France.

Supplementing his work as a choreographer in “Bloodsport” (1988) with Van Damme, Dux also worked on Sheldon Lettich’s movie “Lionheart” (1990) starring Van Damme, and in “Only the Strong” (1993) with Mark Dacascos, Stacey Travis, and Geoffrey Lewis, all adding to his net worth.
