He is best known to the world for being an actor, best known for his role of Cameron Tucker in the ABC’s series “Modern Family”. He has also appeared in a number of films, such as “The Island” (2005), “Bad Teacher” (2011), “Identity Thief” (2013), and “The Loft” (2014). Eric made his first TV appearance as Chester in an episode of the TV series “Dharma And Greg” (1999),, which was followed by other small roles in TV series “Malcolm In The Middle” (2000), “Party Of Five” (2000), and “ER” (2000). In 2000, Eric also made his debut film appearance as Sheldon the Desk Clerk in the film “Almost Famous” (2000). In 2001, Eric earned the role of the lab technician Ron Litre in the TV series “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” (2001-2005), which increased his popularity and enabled him to obtain new, and more popular roles. In 2005 he appeared in the film “The Island”, which also featured Scarlett Johansson and Ewan McGregor.
