All of these achievements have ensured the position of his wealth.

Dharmendra Net Worth $70 million

Dharmendra attended Government Senior Secondary School, and after matriculating went to Ramgarhia College where he did his intermediate.
One of his first features was winning Filmfare magazine’s new talent award, after he moved to Mumbai looking for work and made his debut in “Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere” in 1960. The following year he was cast in a supporting role in “Boy Friend”, which would lead to numerous film opportunities in which he was the romantic interest. His net worth was starting to build up at this point.

Over the next few years, he became part of films such as “Dil ne Phir Yaad Kiya”, “Pooja Ke Phool”, and “Main Bhi Ladki Hoon”. One of his first action films was “Phool Aur Patthar” in which he was given the solo hero role. He became one of the top talents of the industry, and soon he would get his first Filmfare nomination for Best Actor, receiving critical acclaim for his performance in “Anupama”. Aside from action films, Dharmendera has also had comic roles in “Tum Haseen Main Jawan”, “Dillagi”, and “Naukar Biwi Ka”.

He became very successful with his future wife Hema Malini, and the couple starred together in many films, including “Raja Jani”, “Dost”, and “Chacha Bhatija”. In between 1976 to 1984, Dharmendra went on to appear in action films such as “Bhagawat” and “Katilon Ke Kaatil”, working with various directors and collaborating the longest with Arjun Hingorani; they worked together in films such as “Kaun Kare Kurbanie”, and Khel Khllari Ka”. He’s also worked with most members of the Kapoor Family.

Dharmendra then experimented with film production, and would go on a four-year acting hiatus in 2003. He returned to films in 2007, and would appear in films such as “Apne” and “Life in a… Metro”.

Aside from his film work, Dharmendra became a judge in the reality television show “India’s Got Talent”. He established a production company called Vijayta Films. One of the company’s first films was “Betaab” which starred Dharmendra’s son. All of these other opportunities elevated his net worth further.

Dharmendra was also supposedly active in politics, and became a Member of the Parliament in 2004, although apparently attending only rarely.

For his personal life, it is known that Dharmendra’s first marriage was to Parkash Kaur. They have two sons and two daughters. His two sons would eventually go for acting careers as well. His next marriage was to Hema Malini after he converted to Islam, so maintaining both wives. They have two daughters who would also venture into acting.
