Daniel Tosh Net Worth $10 Million

Daniel Tosh’s father was a pres, byterian minister – he grew up in Florida, and was educated at Astronaut High School, and after matriculating went on to graduate from the University of Central Florida with marketing degree. Daniel worked as a telemarketer for a short time, but then moved out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. In 1998, Tosh performed at a comedy festival in Montreal called “Just for Laughs”, and two years later had his first televised performance in one of the theatre venues in Montreal. Tosh’s big breakthrough followed soon after, when in 2001, Tosh was featured on the “Late Show with David Letterman”, which opened many on-screen opportunities for Tosh. After that, he made several appearances on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”, “Premium Blend” hosted by Kathy Griffin during the first season and Damon Wayans during the last one, as well as “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”. Tosh has also been a constant guest on many radio shows, and reality television series, which have made a large contribution to Daniel’s net worth. In addition to that, Tosh has performed as a spokesman in several commercials for the famous fast-food restaurant chain “Taco Bell”.

Daniel Tosh expanded his audience in 2009 with the debut of his television series “Tosh.O”. With the focus on viral videos, the show soon became a hit, and at the beginning had an average of over one million viewers per episode. Even though initially the show was only scheduled to air for ten episodes, the decision was made to continue, to the extent where the show now had six seasons with a total of 145 episodes, and it was announced in 2013 that the show would be expanded to last for three more seasons after that, in fact to the present day. The show that features many celebrity guests who discuss and make comments about viral videos attracted a large number of 18-34 year old males, a demographic that was actively pursued by the creators of “Tosh.O”. With such a success, the show is expected to attract even larger audiences.

Daniel Tosh has also made four tours, the most recent of which happened in 2013, which have contributed consistently to his net worth.

In his personal life, any relationships he has kept very quiet.

#Quote
1 Bill Hicks is a huge influence. I love him.
2 I really don't work a whole lot as far as touring, but I do stand-up every night of my life, no matter where I am.
3 Here's what I tell people now when they come to my shows: 'First of all, thank you for stimulating the economy, or at least my economic package.'
4 I grew up in Florida and went to school there, and ended up going to University of Central Florida.
5 It's funny... you can make fun of AIDS or Haiti, but if you make fun of some starlet in Hollywood's looks? That's like the one thing... the line you are not to cross.
6 I go to the dentist every six months, I get a cleaning, so... I'm fortunate enough that those fluoride treatments as a child worked. Not getting any cavities.
7 I have no idea why people want to watch puppets be the slightly meaner version of the weirdo holding them. It's beyond my comprehension.
8 Instead of dumping all my money on an independent film that nobody would watch and most people would make fun of behind my back, I decided, 'I'm just going to buy a house.'
9 I don't know, maybe I'm immature, but I still find it funny if I dump cold water on my girlfriend when she's in the shower.
10 I don't know why I get away with some things. But I'm not a misogynistic, racist person. Yet I do find those jokes funny, so I say them. And I try to say everything kind of in a good spirit.
11 It's not a stereotype if it's always true.
12 I really don't work a whole lot as far as touring, but I do stand-up every night of my life, no matter where I am. It's really made the touring a lot less grueling.
13 It's the ultimate pinnacle of stand-up to have an hour on HBO, but way more people see Comedy Central, and they've been good to me.
14 The great thing about Los Angeles is that you can get so much money in this town by constantly failing. You can get a lot of television deals that don't go anywhere, but you still get paid.
15 I actually got a part in 'The Love Guru', that Mike Myers film. I heard it's awful. I got a Razzie award for it, which I'm quite proud of, but I still haven't seen it. I have no plans to branch out.
16 [on a girl that he was dating] She says that I always correct her. And I tell her "How do you think it makes me feel, knowing I'm dating someone that's always wrong?"
