Best known by her stage name, Cindy Williams, she is an actress, who rose to prominence in the 1970s, in the role of Shirley Feeney in the comedy TV series “Laverne & Shirley” (1976-1983), alongside Penny Marshall. She has been an active member of the entertainment industry since 1969.

Have you ever wondered how rich Cindy Williams is? According to sources, it is estimated that Cindy`s overall net worth is $10 million, an amount she owes mostly to her acting talents, as she has appeared in more than 70 film and TV titles, in a career that has lasted for more than 40 years.

Cindy Williams Net Worth $10 Million

Cindy grew up in a simple family with her sister, Carol An; her father worked as an electronic technician, and her mother a waitress, but loved the theater stage, which she transferred to Cindy. Ever since she was a child, Cindy would entertain her family, making various settings in their house, and doing monologues during the entire evening. When she became a high school student, her love for stage intensified and she started to appear in numerous school productions. Following Birmingham High School which she attended, Cindy enrolled at the prestigious Los Angeles City College. Four years later she graduated with a major in theatre and embarked on an acting career.

At first, she only managed to acquire appearances in short commercials, but soon she cast in a role in the TV series “Room 222” (1969). The next year she made her big screen debut in the film directed by Roger Corman “Gas-s-s-s!” – these appearances increased her net worth to a large degree. In 1973, Cindy was cast in the film “American Grafitti”, which was directed by George Lucas, and also featured Richard Dreyfuss and Ron Howard. For this appearance, Cindy earned a nomination for the Best Supporting Actress award, but lost out to Ingrid Bergman.

Since then, Cindy`s career has gone only upward; in 1976 came the lead role in the TV series “Laverne & Shirley” (1976-1983), she also appeared in the series “Happy Days” which was aired from 1975 until 1979. During the 1980s she appeared in films such as “The Creature Wasn`t Nice” (1983), “Big On Campus” (1989), and “Rude Awakening”, increasing further her net worth.

In the 1990s she continued in the same fashion, starring in series “Getting By” (1993-1994), and “Normal Life” (1990), and in the films “Meet Wally Sparks” (1997), and “Stepford Husbands” (1996) – her net worth continued to rise steadily.

Furthermore in her successful career, Cindy has been active during the 2000s; she appeared in the TV series “For Your Love” (2000-2002), “Girlfriends” (2004-2005), and “Drive” (2007).

Her latest ventures in the entertainment industry include appearances in the film “Stealing Roses”, and in a TV series “Sam & Cat”, so her net worth is still increasing.

Overall, Cindy is an accomplished actress, and during her career she has won several awards, plus a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2004, and she was also nominated for the Golden Globe award for her role in the “Laverne & Shirley”.

Regarding her personal life, Cindy was married to the American singer Bill Hudson, from 1982 until 2000, when they divorced; the couple have two children.
