Aqib Talib is an American Football player, born on 13th February 1986 in Cleveland, Ohio USA. Aqib was the fourth child in the family – his mother had converted to Islam before giving birth to her children, so she gave them Muslim names. While he was still a child, Talib’s parents divorced and he moved to live with his mother in Texas where he started the eighth grade. He then enrolled at the Berkner High School where he played basketball, track and football, and was later named the high school’s Defensive Back of the Year. He enrolled at the University of Kansas and played for the Kansas Jayhawks football team for two years until 2007. There, he became one of the best defensive players as a junior and an unanimous first-team All-American.
