She then appeared in such movies as Brian De Palma’s Oscar Award-nominated “Phantom of the Paradise” (1974), and in James Avery’s “The Wild Party” (1975), while her first on-screen credit came in the comedy “Can I Do It ‘Till I Need Glasses?” (1977).
Also in 1977, Angelyne joined her boyfriend’s band called Baby Blue, and they performed in various clubs in Los Angeles, with the club named The Masque serving as their rehearsal place.
