Adam Beach Net Worth $2 Million

Adam Beach was one of three sons of Sally and Dennis Beach, at the Lake Manitoba/Dog Creek First Nation Reserve. He has First Nations ancestry, as a Saulteaux of the Ojibwa nation, though he reportedly also has some Icelandic heritage on his great-grandmother’s side. He and his two brothers were mainly raised by their grandmother, and then their paternal uncle and aunt, due to the early death of their parents – Adam’s pregnant mother, Sally, was killed by a drunk driver when he was eight, and his father was found drowned some eight weeks after her death. When he was twelve, Beach moved to Winnipeg along with his brothers, to live with their aunt Agnes, and their uncle Chris Beach. There, he attended high school, but decided to drop out in order to join the Manitoba Theatre for Young People.

After performing in local productions for several years, Adam landed his first on-screen role in the adventure children’s miniseries “Lost in the Barrens” (1990). In 1994, he debuted on the big screen in two films, an ensemble comedy “Dance Me Outside” with Ryan Rajendra Black, and Jennifer Podemski, and biographical adventure film “Squanto: A Warrior’s Tale”, in which he played the lead role of Indian warrior Squanto, alongside Mandy Patinkin and Michael Gambon. During this time, he also guest-starred in several TV shows, including “Walker, Texas Ranger” (1995) with Chuck Norris, and “Touched by an Angel” (1996). His next big break came in 1998, when he was cast as Victor Joseph in “Smoke Signals”, an independent film based on a short story by Sherman Alexie. The film was critically acclaimed, and earned several awards and nominations, including Audience Award at Sundance, and Best Actor Award for Adam at the San Diego World Film Festival. His net worth was now well established.

From then on, Adam continued to rack up successes; he starred alongside Nicholas Cage in the war film “Windtalker” (2002), in which he played a Navajo code talker., needing to learn the Navajo language for this role, which would prove beneficial, since he played Navajo characters three more times, in the television movie trilogy “Skinwalker” (2002), “A Thief of Time” (2003), and “Coyote Waits” (2004). Another award-winning role for Adam was Corporal Ira Hayes in Clint Eastwood’s war film “Flags of Our Fathers” (2006), adapted from the book of the same name, revolving around the World War II Battle of Iwo Jima. While the movie wasn’t a box office success, it was praised by the critics, and nominated for numerous awards, including two nominations for Beach as Best Supporting Actor.

The following year, Beach appeared in another culturally significant role, playing a young Native American doctor, who participated in the events which lead to the Wounded Knee Massacre, in the television film “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” (2007). For this role, he was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the Best Actor — Mini-Series or Television Film category.

While he divided his time equally between television and the big screen, his most memorable recent roles remain those in blockbusters, such as the 2011 “Cowboys & Aliens” with Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford and Olivia Wilde, and 2016 “Suicide Squad” with Will SmithViola Davis and Margot Robbie. Adams keeps a busy acting schedule, with as many as five upcoming projects, such as the adventure drama “Hostiles” (2017) with Christian Bale, and “The Watchman’s Canoe” (2017) playing the leading role; all should benefit his net worth.

Regarding his private life, Adam has married three times, and he currently resides in Los Angeles with Summer Tiger (m. 2015) and their daughter, Phoenix. He also has two sons from his first marriage to Meredith Porter (1999-2002), and was also married to Tara Mason (2003-07). In his free time, he advocates for First Nations rights, and visits schools in order to encourage Native children to pursue their dreams. His dream is to lead his Lake Manitoba First Nation.

1We're not going anywhere. We are never going to give up our sovereignty. We will always advance and we will always rise above any conflict.
2I feel I will always have that spirit bear with me, so I will always feel protected.
3[on First Nations people in Canada, and their treaty rights] I'm asking what is anybody doing right now to propel anything? All they are after is how we get that land that the Indians have by using our power to take away our rights. You can't propel a nation to move forward if all you are doing is taking something from them.
4[on his role in Arctic Air (2012)] I do a lot of inspirational talks for kids, to motivate them to change their lives and give them hope. And I found that this character shares a lot of those qualities. A lot of the communities I connect to get their inspiration from television and YouTube. I felt that this character could reach out to them and really connect. He's a character who's struggling with himself. He's trying to get back in touch with the person he once was.
5Some people look for a certain structure in their lives that they're comfortable with. People who work hard on the road as truckers, people who work hard using their hands. Then there are people who are fortunate enough to have my life, people who play these characters who embody these qualities.
